Medical Staff

Dawei Zheng, M.D., ABFM
Dr. Zheng was born into a family of physicians. In 1983, he graduated with the highest academic honors from Shandong Medical University in China. During his doctoral research in Japan, he sharpened his clinical skills even further. From 1996 to 1999, he fulfilled his Texas Tech University family practice residency. He is certified by the American Board of Family Practice and is also a staff physician in the Sutter and Mercy General Hospitals.  He has more than 20 years of clinical experience, especially in preventive care, sports medicine, and office surgeries.

Dr. Zheng has been actively involved in different community service organizations and volunteer programs.  He is one of the founders and the first president of CAMAC, Chinese American Medical Association of California.

Dr. Zheng spends the necessary time with his patients which is the reason why he understands them well and has built strong relationships with his patients and their family members.

Dr. Li Li, M.D.
Dr. Li Li graduated from the Medical School of Beijing University in 1982.  Before immigrating to the United States, she was an attending physician of internal medicine and cardiac care in the teaching hospital of Beijing University.

After she came to the United States, Dr. Li did diabetic neuropathy research in the medical school of UC San Diego. Dr. Li also completed her residency at UC Davis.

Dr. Li has served in the Sacramento area as a primary care physician for more than 8 years. She enjoys working with patients and their families and assisting people of all ages.  She provides professional and caring medical evaluations to her patients and provides them with information on illnesses and treatment options so that patients can make wise decisions.

Yin Qiu, LAc., PhD
Dr. Yin Qiu has been trained in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine. She is a licensed Acupuncturist and an herbal specialist. After graduating from medical school in 1983, she worked in The Neurology Department at a medical center in China. Then, as an exchange scholar, she traveled to Japan where she received her Ph.D. in Medical Science. She has over 20 years of clinical experience in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, and has practiced in China, Japan and the United States.

Kevin H. Vuong, FNP-C (Nurse Practioner)
Mr. Vuong achieved his board certification as a Family Nurse Practioner in 2005 after he graduated from California State University, Long Beach. Kevin practiced his internship and Residency in Los Angeles Children's Hospital, the Greater Los Angeles Veteran Affairs Hospital and the Vietnamese Community Asian Health Center in Orange County.

Kevin assists our medical office's services in many ways with his many skills as a nurse practioner.   He speaks Vietnamese, Cantonese and Mandarin fluently and deeply understands the cultural differences in minority groups.  Kevin genuinely cares about his patients and their familys. 

Kevin also works for Sutter Express Care and Urgent Care. He has a special professional interest in Emergency medicine, COPD, hypertension and the public health field. Kevin is affiliated with the American Academic of Nurse Practioners and Sigma Theta Tau International.
